Probably not the opti. But, I have heard a few instances where they went bad and no codes.

Have you tried removing the Crane ignition, and just running the stock setup?

Is that question directed to me?Did you check cables & where cables go to & clean all those connections?Assuming you did, check battery voltage while car is sitting/with key out of ignition.Battery voltage should be around 12 volts. Also how old is battery? If battery voltage is around 12 volts then start vehicle(assuming it starts)& check battery voltage with car running.Voltage should be around 14 volts or higher than when you checked voltage with car sitting with key out of ignition.Next check voltage on battery while reving up car, this should not exceed 15 volts. If possible have volt meter hooked up to battery then test drive car & compare volt meter readings to computer reading(digital readout unger gauges-button).Also remove battery & have it checked somewhere to make sure it holds a charge & passes a load test(cca).Post your results to us after doing above items/requests.

Look at the top of the page in your service manual where you are seeing Crankshaft Position Sensor and you will see it is for VIN J which is a ZR1, you have an LT1 which is VIN P, all crank and cam position information comes from the Opti.

Will do so today... Do you think this could really cause an intermittent shutdown of my cars ignition!?
