My '89 convertible has an inconsistent starting pattern. The car fails to start and has to have starting fluid sprayed into the fuel induction system. I have cleaned the injectors, replaced plugs, distributor cap, rotor and air flow sensor. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You may have a bad coolant temp sensor.If you have no access to scan tool to see what coolant temp computer is seeing just replace sensor as its cheap.Just make sure its for the computer.Does this year car have a cold start injector?Have you replaced fuel filter?Any codes stored in computer?You can use paperclip method to retrieve codes
