i just traded for this car it ran fine for 2 days and then started missing and after running for 10-15 minutes it blows white smoke out i side and the gas smell blows you out of the car any suggestions that why i was thinking of thge engine swap

what year is the corvette,white smoke usually means coolant in the combustion chamber,i.e. head gaskets or cracked heads.did it overheat.we need more info to guide u thru a proper diagnosis.
