Cutouts installed...........
The cutouts are from DMH.
The exhaust system is Stainless Works LT's into bullet cats into the stock pipes with the resonator removed and in it's place a X pipe from RacerX70CC. Stock mufflers and tips.
I like it!
Here's a few still shots

It takes the video about 15 seconds to get going.

The wires? That's for the controls. You can't see them when it's sitting flat. I had to give them a length for the wire and I guess I over estimated a little.

Glad my work inspired someone! It is tight under there. The bowtie looks less like a bowtie from hitting the road a couple times.
Here comes the questions!

Are you satisfied with the cutouts and quality?
Do you think they can fit right next to the muffler and face towards the outside of the car (towards the back of the wheel) or are they bulky?
How did you install the electricals? Where did you get your power and place your ground?
Where did you run your open/close switch to get it inside the car?
Thanks! Thats real nice!

Actually- I'm just impressed with how clean the c4 looks! the mufflers cleaned up really nice with what appears to be a coating of black on them! Looks awesome!

The quality is first class! Very well made.
You might get them in there where you stated. TBH I didn't really look at that particular spot. With the motor it is a little bulky and it can't touch anything.
I hooked it to the cigarette lighter. The ground went to a bolt under the shifter. I drilled a hole just the right of the shifter to run the wire through and used a rubber grommet to seal it off.

Objective.......well, I had Corsa on there and with headers and also with a mid range cam it had become louder than I wanted, especially around town. With the motor stock the Corsa was perfect for me. This setup sounds good though. I really like it! It screams at WOT and is pleasant any other time with just a low growl.
Sound wasn't really a thought. It sounds like a truck with a missing muffler now when they are open all the way. I'm sure closer to the headers would have had a richer tone. I had read I may lose about 15 hp or so going back to the stock cans from the Corsa so I figured I'd use these to hopefully gain some back when I went to the strip. I worked hard to get the 345 rwhp I have now and didn't want to lose any of it.
I'll find out in about a week when I go back to the dyno I've been using. The the next T&T is April 3rd. I also kind of like the look of them. Something a little different.
This will be the first track time for the Dana 44 too. Maybe I'll knock another tenth off. Thanks for noticing, it's really kind of dirty under there now. You can see my greasy finger prints on the half shafts. I'll take care of that though.

12.3 is movin' pretty good. Do you know what the DA was? It'll be interesting to see if the dyno numbers change much. I'm interested in what those cutouts do. Aside from improved sound, I've heard some say they make little to no performance difference, some say they help, some say they hurt. My personal thought is they would probably hurt low end torque on a stock motor, but with mods like yours I suspect they may help the higher RPM hp more than they hurt low tq, especially since you're stalling past the low RPM range anyway.
I've been following your project for quite a while now, I'm almost as excited for yours as I am for my own! We've had a few nice days here this week and like you I'm looking forward to test & tune days in April.
