You will find that doing plugs is easier. I haven't had to remove the starter or like on the floor like a hooker on the job. All with me on top. Don't even need a swivel socket.
I've removed the compressor/alternator brackets, ASR, both AIR tubes, and I can't get the oil dipstick off. Also, my passenger's side AIR tube doesn't seem to want to go back to its original position. I'm having a hard time getting the exhaust off as well. How do you reach the back passenger side wire loom and cylinder 8's bolts?
I've been working since 11:30AM and haven't even gotten the stock manis off. This is kicking my ***...
I have all of the bolts off of the driver's side mani, but there's some stupid bracket holding the cat on that I can't get off, and on the passenger's side, the AIR tube won't move enough for me to get to cylinders 6 and 8 AND I can't get to the wire loom

Aklim...I agree about the benefit of changing plugs. I took mine out in less than 10 minutes using a hex-end 5/8" socket and a 19mm open-end wrench. (No ratchet handle required.) The best part is the rear plugs are almost easier than the fronts!

But the rears LOOK harder though. I thought I was going mad when I felt that the rears which look harder actually were easier than #2 and #4.
Now I'm hung up trying to figure out how to get the alternator brace support onto the 3rd bolt on the header without digging a hole into the 2nd primary...

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
