Not that much really. You can see the oil lines on the cardboard. That happens only when it's reved up a little bit. I've just always used this method and feel comfortable with it. Try it sometime, it might surprise you at how easy it is.

Just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you here on CF that have helped me out with this project. I learned a lot form blackharleymans sticky about several details that you don't see a lot about. A special thanks to Pete K, Toptechx6, Steve40th,STL94LT1,and PLRX for his sticky also. And a very special thanks to tpi 421 vette (Jim Barth) for giving me a great price on these. If you're in the market for some AFR's of any size give Jim a yell. You won't beat his price and the service after the sale is priceless.
