Transmission problem

Then did a search for TC ID's and found this :
GM 4 digit code system... See the Code Tag on the converter!
1st digit is the APPLICATION
C = Early 700R4 w/27 spline # B15 series
D= '85-up 700R4 30 spline # B29 series
H=10 1/8" # B24 series
B24's use different codes 2nd Digit is the STALL range
G,H,K = 1200-1400 stall
E,F,L = 1611-1654 stall
B,C = 2000 stall
3rd digit is the type of Clutch & damper
1982-1995 most all codes interchanged
1996 up A,G,H,L CARBON Filled Clutch
N & P Woven Graphite Clutch
4th digit is the Cover type
C,D,F & G codes interchange
E code is a 6 Lug Diesel

then i upgraded to a 2400 stall converter
