Datalog to tell what the car is doing under WOT. Depending on boost level, you may need to be at 11.8-12.2 AFR. Additionally, the car can be running lean without showing a drop in FP.

Data removes all guessing.

Very true but it isn't fixed by buying a new weldon fuel pump or ZR-1 twin pump and dual lines as was suggested earlier. It is fixed by tuning the PE vs RPM fuel tables in the computer to get the car at the proper fuel ratio. Only a wideband will tell real story.

As far as the sending unit, will said ZR-1 pump assembly work with a replacement stock sending unit? (I know nothing about the electric stuff etc).

Also, I have a hesitation in the current motor when not in WOT. (not a miss just a kind of not putting out the right amount of push, but almost a miss). I have eliminated about all of the fuel and most of the electric possibilities and was thinking maybe I got an injector going bad. I Was wondering what kind of injectors could be used to replace the stock ones with? I was wanting to upgrade and have more fuel on demand. what would be the highest poundage injector to go with (without overkill) if I was going to be doing the 383 thing soon (500ish hp and porting)? I know I will need more fuel availability. Again, I was not wanting to re-replace them later but I am wanting to fix the hesitation and upgrade to more fuel availability and reliability without changing to a carburetor or something.

Thanks in advance Obi Wan

For a 383 you should be good with a stock pump and 32lb injectors. You may wish to upgrade to a walbro 255 if you find you are running out of fuel. Make sure your fuel filter is in good shape though.

32lb ? I'd have a 52mm T-body & adjustable regulator to go with those...

My 357 w/52mm and intake work burns nice on 26lb/hr B-IIIs @ 50psi.

I guess 32 would fit a 383 as long as there was some more CFM made available, knowing there is some latitude on the pressure so it can be dialed down a bit if needed.. I wish I'd gone a bit bigger and just run less pressure...oh well.

32lbs and stock regulator will work nice. Stock pressure of 43 is plenty with those injectors. My 383 with AFR heads runs at about 80% duty cycle with this combo. The Accel Gen 7 computer gives me alot of feedback and data and these are the right injectors.
