Probably worth giving it a go if the price is right. Any idea on before and after ETs on a stock 84? 30 hp improvement seems like good bang for the buck.

Went for a drive last night. It loses traction very easily at take off due to the diff ratio being fairly high (3.31) and being quite torquey at low rpm. However, runs out of puff pretty quickly.

Used to go to the track with Shinobi-X when he was around.

84 with catback Xram and 3.45 (3.54?) gears
Would stay neck and neck with my 89 (stock, catback 3.07) til the last 100-200 yrds then hed slooowly lose ground.

Low-mid 14s expect something like that.
Id wait for a renegade to pop up and skip all the older Xfire stuff

There used to be a member here think he has aC5 now Alcee1 had a mint 84 with Xfire same gear old Crane 2032? cam edelbrock heads and shorties, 2600 stall was running 13 and change on his.
