i know you said no to them but you will want to adjust ride height for the track and these double adjustable ones will be fantastic, i have coil overs on my vette they are unbelievable
I have the shockers in the link provided by gerard from ebay, and they were a big improvement over the KYB's I took off, easy to adjust using an allen key,
the only thing wrong with them was cardboard stuck to the paint, i re painted mine red,
they are actually made by a well known motorcycle shock company but I cant remember the name of them, maybe someone else knows ?
But very good value for the price !
i dont think so. they look like works performance shocks. so so for vintage mx bikes and quads. i dont know how they work on cars. i would go with penske

If your a serious auto-xer then drop your money on a set of QA1's.
A solid shock with external adjustment is absolutely necessary for track side tuning.
Otherwise its Koni's. Everything else will disappoint you on the track.

Shocks, tires, springs, and bars are the last place to skimp if you want a car that runs on rails. HP is great if you can control it.
This writer builds custom shocks that most here would never invest in for the street. But if your serious (Auto-X'r/Roadracer/Mountain roads) this is the kind of guy you need to tune your suspension.
great link, has been up for many years with very solid advice. the only two cars i have personally tested the koni sports on are the late suspension c4 and 94-01 integra.
the c4 can handle 750-800lb/in tops with the koni sport in front and the rears i never ran out of rebound with since a 500lb rear spring works pretty well with a 750 front
not that anyone might care but if you ever find yourself in an integra to autocross the koni sports for that car are good to about 600lb in the front and 500lb max in the rear....which is kind of crazy since that car is usually setup with more rear spring so it will rotate between the cones
of course everyone's opinion of what's good varies, my rule of thumb is if the shock starts feeling floaty on corner exit you have too much spring
