Youll need a rebuild set up for the right compression with heavy duty parts everywhere.

well maybe not with D ports, but yes you should get 600 crank i suppose

Shalin did not have a stock bottom end. it was a purpose built, forged bottom, 355 with 8.5:1CR.
I have met and talked to Shalin many ocassion. Shalin Ex-93 vette using stock crank and rods. The only thing was forged is the TRW 21cc "D" cup piston and TS1 rings. Also its a 9:1 c/r. If you guy wants more infor, you can contact Chris at Speed-Demon. Because he own Shalin blown vette now.
