These 200 Cell 2.5" OD slotted inlet w/O2 bung and 2.5" OD outlet Metallic Mini converters are polished 409 stainless, but weigh only 3 lbs and measure only 11" long. Installed, they only take up 7" in length. Rated at 4,500 lbs capacity. Pypes cats and catted X-pipes will pass most states emmissions testing proceedures. However, check your local and state ordinances for installation and usage regulations. Kit comes with 2 metallic catalytic converters, 2 band clamps and 2 O2 sensor bung plugs. Flows 330 CFM.

Will do,the exhaust is at the top of my list of "to-do's" it's on my list of projects,

1. Next I'll install Pypes Dual exhaust & Cats
2. Clean up the wiring on my F.A.S.T XFI and tune
3. Install my new Halo Rear Tail Lights
4. Install the Headlight harness upgrade for my H4's
5. Swap my rear QA1 coils from 350-lb to 375-lb
6. Install the Bulldog KE1702 keyeless entry

And MAYBE, just maybe, I'll be done with the list so I can get the car painted before the Hot Rod Power Tour in June

i used the supplied band clamps. they worked very well. one thing i found out is that if you cut off an end of pipe that has the 4 notches in it, you'll have to make some new notches in the new cut end in order for the clamps to tighten properly. i stripped a band clamp bolt before i figured this out.

so did any of you add cats to the Pypes coming out of the headers?

I assume that you shortened the tubes in the middle, under the drive shaft?

I was sick today so I only get a few hours in, and it was 17 degrees.

The Pypes setup was a very good ready to bolt on setup. You can see in the first picture, there is material that you can cut of and add a header flange and you are ready to go, not trimming or cutting required anywhere except to trim the tubes so they mate with the header, I use the Flowmaster Ball & Socket instead of the 3-bolt flange because they simply seal better and they accommodate misalignment's better

If I were not adding the Catalytic's, it would have been an easy 1 hour install, but since I am adding the high flow cats, it got more complicated because of fitting the cats into the small area before the tranny tunnel gets narrow.

So I will heliarc the cats to the X-pipe tube Monday and it will be finished, I will post a sound video once I have it all welded

Adding the cats

That looks very familiar . They will cook the rear cover . I made some aluminum sheilds that took most of the heat way .

I assume that the two studs welded onto the L-pipe are supposed to point upward, is this correct?

ROB31, do you mean the rectangular piece gets super hot? Also, how far did yo let them stick out?
