My Band Clamps are not on tight so the mufflers are loose and crooked, I am working on getting everything straight before i clamp it all down, so I'll fix that tonight. Nothing was changed except the exhaust

Pypes w/Hi Flow Cats Idle

Magnaflow w/ No cats idle

The exhaust note is really softened by the Cats on the Pypes, the Magnaflow is more rumbly, but I have no cats on the Magnaflows.

Thanks guys, I think the drone will be non existent as well,,

In the Magnaflow video, one side of the exhaust isplugged in one tube on each of the Magnaflow mufflers and it is that loud and the drone was bad unless I plugged 1/2 of each muffler with Stainless Steel Wool

Great job! I wish I had your skills. I bought some C5 Random Tech Cats they are too far in and the cats are too far back. I think I will end up cutting them something like this... How about i just send them to you you seem bored?

DUDE, its a tight squeeze under there, but my cat setup has ample clearance all the way around for air flow, the bottom of my tunnel has DEI reflector attached to it with small/short sheet metal screws, so heat should not be a problem.

Wish i was closer, heli-arc welding is actually quote simple to do, but you gotta have the equipment

I might need some of that depending on where the cats end up. When you get them in will you take some good pictures for me please?

That's beautiful!! Lets hear it.
I wish I had that much space. The manual gives you a lot more room.

Update

OK, when I put my Pypes cats on and had the car tuned, I dropped @ 25 TQ/HP based on my previous dyno, unfortunately, the dyno results were from 2 different dynos,, everyone says, "you'll drop @ 5 hp/TQ" well, mine "might have or might not have" dropped more because of the 2 different dyno results

so I bought a crank trigger and I will tune the car with FAST sequential injection and with the cats and have it dynoed.

Also, I bought a new X pipe and will dyno the car with FAST sequential and NO cats for a comparison...

My hope is that the Sequential tuning will reduce the smell from valve overlap and allow me to run with no cats as well, and potentially pick up some HP/TQ to get back to where I thought I was.

My car is being painted so I don't have the car and dont anticipate getting it back until mid next week at the earliest, then I will mount the crank sensor and phase the crank and rotor and begin the tune I expect this to be finished by the end of July if my business lets up some

to be continued.....

Had my pypes system installed today, finally got rid of the ten year old B&B droners. I still have a smile on my face. I'm running TPIS headers into a 3" X-pipe into the 2.5" Pypes system, no cats. Sounds great.

Nice, I like mine a lot, I'm gonna remove the cats in the winter when I swap out the cam,, UNLESS, I can get it tuned with the crank sensor..

Congrats!

OK, I pulled the cats off and installed a FAST Crank Trigger for better fuel smell tuning with Sequential Cylinder tune.

1. No I don't have a before and after with dual exhaust w/cats and Bank To Bank and without Cats.

Dyno info coming soon.
