PKE programming
I'm tring to program 1995 corvette remote but pke light does not flash. checked ccm 1.3 06 Key in ignition = 0 should = 1 any ideas how to fix ignition. Thanks

Is your ignition a little "loose"? We have had members report that when they turned the key off it slipped out just enough to not register as present. When you turn the key off does the "key in ignition" alarm sound? One member was able to turn the key off but firmly hold it in and complete the programming.

No, alarm does not sound. tried jiggling key while in diagnostic mode but while in 1.3 never could get it to change to 1 (o= no key 1 = key in ignition)

Yes, 2 second light comes on. It actually locks the doors and sounds the horn the first time i try to reprogram it. It just dont Recognize key in ignition. The old lost key fob still programmed. Its like I cancelled programming by taking out key When key is on running diagnostic test 1.3 06 key in ignition = o shouldn't it = 1

Yeah, the PKE sounds like it is fine, your problem is the ignition cylinder, I'm afraid I can't help much moe than that (replace the cylinder?). You might try reposting with a title about a cylinder problem instead of PKE.
