Not getting fuel where ? Fuel rail or injector nozzles ?

Just because a pump " runs" doesn't mean it is good

I am having similar issues, from my memory and from the factory book here is some things to do.
-----
-check for fuel from sending unit? Before filter
-check for fuel to the rail, i.e. past fuel filter
-check for fuel out of the rail, return line
-block off return line at the tank and check pressure, if good when prior was bad replace the regulator $75.
-if all good and no start take rails out and fuel injectors out, likely you will find debris in the basket screens of the injectors...bang head against wall and attempt to clean...will let you know how that works out.
----
-have fun and a little fyi.
-i have a 1986 w/new sending unit and pump, friendly tech at gm told me it is normal for them to have a trickle of fuel coming out when the lines are disconnected at the fuel filter and return junction....plan ahead my friend or you will have a new scent.

Check your negative ground from the battery. Follow the wire to the chasis and clean off the contacts and wires.

I ran into the same issue on my '84. My mechanic ended up bypassing the power to a different power source, not sure where, but at least the pump has power and working. I also got a message stating to take a look at a yellow wire behind the horn. This wire is for the security and ignition.

If you have no pressure at the rail, it may be the the connection between the pump and the line has come undone and is pumping the fuel into the tank.....

Check pressure at rail. Check to see if fuel is pumped into line at tank...takes two people to check this and not have fuel pumped all over.

Default all fixed

so I got it fixed. I was not getting power at the fuel pump so I made a jumper and jumped the fuel pump circuit and found out the fuel pump was working. traced the wires out and it ended up being a loose connection at the fuse block. wtf
