Default 1985 cold start

Hello, I have a 1985 corvette with 49,000 original miles. And my last full tune up was ayear ago. But the last week or so it's been harder to start when its sets for 6 or more hours. But when its warm it starts right up. When I say hard to start it will crank 3-6 seconds, sometimes as much as 8 seconds. But every now and then when it's cold its starts right up. Any ideas. THANKS.

How old is the fuel filter?

How strong is your battery? Coil?

Any vacuum leaks?

Might be a problem with the cold start injector.

Check the cold start injector, the wiring and the cold start temperature switch on the front of the intake manifold. It has a connector that looks like a fuel injector connector.

It doesn't like ethanol. Put some ethanol cleaner from Gumout every now and then, that should fix it up.
Fix mine first bottle with a long drive.
