A Bugatti Veyron is pushing over 1000 hp and is 2.4 0-60 and a 9 second car out of the box. If only I had a few million to blow.

I don't consider who I have to beat in life as a worthy endeavor in general. If your braket racing or something similar then you have some good competition and head to head fun time racing. Liter plus bikes, Busas, ZX-14, ZX-10, that BMW screamer along with others are in a different zip code and not a good candidate for pumping up your ego on the street no less. I have a ZR-1 nowand another Busa coming very soon. Each of them have their own fun factors in spades but live in different worlds.
You could always build a stout driveline and braking system and order up a 1000 hp twin turbo combo from Nelson racing Engines for $37K and have a Super Car beater with Sledgehammer top end potential.
As far as top end goes Bill Warner and company have set the bar pretty high at the Texas Mile with a 1000 hp Turbo Hayabusa. I don't think their is a wheel driven car out there that has topped 300 yet. http://

You know what....^that^ is incredibly LAME. You asked what it would take. I DID have something useful and that was some quick math to show that you're going to need AT LEAST 1500 hp to ensure that you can meet your vague goal. You don't like what I have to say? Move on to the next post that strokes your ego. You want to hear from specific folks? PM 'em. Just in case you haven't picked up on this yet...it's a public forum. Merry Christmas to ya.

Your not poor... just low on funds. Money is in ample supply... you just need to apply the right idea into action.

Can you imagine riding in that super strong 283 mph Ford GT while side by side racing Bill Warner's Busa ? It would look surreal to watch the Busa pull away from the GT. If you look around on you tube you can see the speedo / tack in bike video where the speedo needle moves across the gauge face... all I can say is... amazing!

I've seen YouTube vids of people beating 1000cc street bikes at roll races, and either the bike riders were rookies or the cars were just plain nasty... You need a lot of muscle to beat a 600cc rocket let alone a liter bike. I don't know where people get the notion that these rockets don't handle though take any great rider on a bike and they will smoke any sports car or exotic through twisty roads nuff said, realistically that's what they are built to do. Keep in mind usually stock for sotock a zx10 or CBR 1000 is quicker than a 'busa ZX14 due to the weight difference

Im not saying that I will have the patience or money to develop a 'liter-bike beating c4'.
However, I showed plenty of vids of c4's that could easily take stock hayabusa literbikes.
Im frustrated because no-one has given a roadmap on how to do it on here, the internet's premier corvette enthusiast forum.
ex.
what engine 'computer' do I need?
supercharged or turbocharged?
how many fuel pumps?
what size injectors?
what diameter fuel lines?
SBC, SBC2.2 or LSx?
What redline should i target? (a low end grunt machine or a high rpm screamer).
what size headers
Yet, people are building liter-bike beating c4's everyday - as evidenced by the youtube videos.

Yes, they are a bit quicker , however, they don't have the torque of the bigger cubic inch bikes. The torque makes the riding experience a bit more relaxed imho. Combined with a longer wheel base and riding position that isn't as aggressive I find those bikes better suited for me. I am looking forward to my next superbike in a week or two depending on what I find out there on the market.

Plenty of bank robbers are not getting caught these days. Most robberies are internal. I wish I could remember the link where I read about it. The banks usually don't call the cops for internal thefts under $5000.
So, liter bike beater? Plenty of engine builders like Nelson Racing Engines for starters will give you durable power in spades. A 4 link and a Ford 9" straight axel might prove to be money well spent at the expence of handling prowess.

Also, your best bet is beating a litre bike in a standing 1/4. A halfway decent rider will leave you for dead in a 50 mph roll on. Aerodynamics don't start hurting them until they are around 150mph, by which time you'll be nothing more than a distant memory.
