IHRA tracks require roll bar at 11.49 or faster. This is an NHRA track which requires it at 11.99. I think both are close to the limits to run a car safely. Cam is just on the faster side of the limit running 11.6's. I wouldn't hack up my 90 model with 20,000 mi. on it with a cage if i'm running just 11,6's.

Yes they do help quite a bit at reducing flex with the top off. My Vette used to flex like crazy without it, now it feels much tighter. :)

Yes they do help quite a bit at reducing flex with the top off. My Vette used to flex like crazy without it, now it feels much tighter. :)
That, top off, body flex drives me nut's. I love to drive with the top off but with the body flex it is miserable to drive. I would imagine that the halo hoops could tie the rear monocock torsionally therefore reducing flex a little.

That, top off, body flex drives me nut's. I love to drive with the top off but with the body flex it is miserable to drive.
