Need to replace my TPS. Looked online lots to choose from. Adjustable TPS, 92-96 at $99, 94-95 at $51. Whats the best? Do I need to have an adjustable TPS?
Thanks

The big parts stores should have lifetime warranty and you don't have to fool with shipping. You can make yours adjustable by slotting the mounting holes with a dremel. When you install it make sure that the voltage is correct for closed throttle for your year model. Its a 0-5 volt signal to the ECM.

I don’t think an adjustable TPS is the right part for the 94 and don’t think it should be installed. The right part should be used which is a not an adjustable TPS. I don't think an adjustable is needed if all else is working OK (even though they are advertised).
The PMC expects to see about 0.64 volts with the throttle closed. The software then in the PCM sets the IAC for the proper idle speed. When a load is put on the engine like A/C or put into gear, the IAC counts will be re-adjusted. When throttle is opened and then closed the IAC is adjusted. All this is in regard to the proper TPS voltage when the throttle is closed.
Also 0 to 5 volts are ball park numbers for the TPS and are not exact as in real operation. It is more like .64 to 4.5 volts for normal operation. A scanner (Tech 1) will show 0% to 100% throttle operation (angle).
