Default Shealth Ram question?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Holley stealth Ram setup for my 1986 coupe. I have some questions about it? Does anyone know of a good thread that covers the complete install with picts? I know about the hood clearance issue and I'm ok with a hood scoop, actually I want a hood scoop anyway. Do you run the factory mass air flow sensor and air box, or does the hight difference create a issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I do not have a thread but the factory MAF and air cleaner work fine.

Other issues include: adding/routing extensions for the fuel lines and converting to a remote coil distributor. You may also need another low-profile water neck...which [I think] TPIS sells (separately) for use with their MiniRam intakes.

Actually you can fit Stealth under the stock hood just fine...

That socket's outer diameter is something like 15 mm (close to 5/8"). Towers have been milled down approximately 12 mm (close to 1/2") and the heads have been lowered also, that may affect the intake manifold to be maybe 1 mm lower than with stock height cylinder heads.

There's plenty of filing and machining involved to make it fit.

Well, the hood is stock, which was my point. But almost nothing else is...which probably was your point(?)

(Actually, it might have fitted even without lowering the plenum, but I wanted to have as much room as possible).
