Default wiper motor

hello
I own a 1984 4 plus 3. The wipers are not working. I went to the SHOP MANUAL and it says to test the wiper motor use diagram 8A-83. Which is NOT the wiper motor. Does any one have the number of the diagram or the actual flow chart. thank you

Brief video (just suggests a possible source of problem):

Detailed motor removal: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rocedures.html

'94 (should be same motor (?)): https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...tch-motor.html

May have helpful info (C5)::http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/foru...d.php?t=121213

Possible replacement motor, if needed... research others: http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...1984-1987.html

This is from a 86 service manual.

Connector C1 three pin connector is plugged into the black plastic front control cover.
Pin A Brown wire goes to windshield wiper switch Brown wire Pin F.
Pin B Black wire goes to ground.
Pin C Pink wire goes to washer motor pump.

Connector C2 three pin connector plugs into the side of the wiper assembly.
Pin A Gray wire goes to the Park Relay
Pin B Orange wire turns into a Light Blue wire at Pin E of the windshield wiper switch.
Pin C Gray wire and goes to Pin D of the windshield wiper switch

Use an ohm meter and Verify connector C1 Pin B Black wire has zero resistance to the negative battery terminal. The ground point is G104.

At the windshield wiper switch connector if you can, back probe the Purple wire. Red probe of the meter on the Purple wire and Black meter probe to ground. Set the meter to read DC volts.

Turn the ignition On.

Set the wiper switch to HI.

You should read 12 volts on the Purple wire.

You should also measure 12 volts at Connector C2 Pin B Orange wire which enables the Park relay.

The wiper motor should run at Hi speed.

Most importantly. Thank you all the videos and the diagrams.
So I take off the door and start to trouble shoot the switch. But, the Shop manual has some wiper motor test to do. So I get all of my electrical stuff, even buy a continuity tester. Start to remove the wires and find a broken ground. So I fixed the ground and TADA we are wiping. Then I fix the power door locks being the door was off. I look at the car and realize that there is a SCREW in my tire. I close the hood go to the tire shop and now the HOOD will not open.
Got the screw out. and fixed the tire anway.

Went to youtube and found a video on getting at the latch with a 3/16
rod. Beautiful ride in the Corvette. Yes, it is worth the troubles.

Thank you all and good day.

FYI, my 84 manual on page 8A-98 refers to figure 8A-83 not diagram 8A-83. Figure 8A-83 is on 8A-99 and shows the connections to test the motor without removing..
