but it still was an increase from the factory engine..and still keeping it emissions compliant.....and when the cars were out of warranty..I am sure they could be set up to seriously peel your eyelids back even more.The way I look at it...this car was another 'stepping stone' in how GM has got to where they are now in regards to blistering horsepower and still having the car be emission complaint.
For me..that is the 'trick'...major horses and torque and still passes emissions....because anybody can gut the hack out of a cars emission equipment and get wicked HP and torque...but keeping it legit and also reasonable fuel mileage...that is the trick.
