trouble codes
last night i tried to access the trouble codes under the dash on my "85, when i connected the 2 terminals no codes were flashed, not even the first one that always is displayed first to show that the system is working, the only thing that happened on one of my attempts was that the electric fan started up. anyone have any idea :cheers:

If you jumpered A and B and turned the ignition to the ON position then the fan should have come on and the service engine light would start blinking. Maybe the Service Engine bulb is burned out?

the service engine light is always on, it is on when i try to access the trouble codes, it just won't flash. The fan only came on one time and hasn't come on again when accessing the codes :confused:
