Well, everything that is listed on that piece of paper is on the car. So even if it's not a "GENUINE CHEVROLET" piece of paper it's doesn't matter to be.

I have no complaints with Magnaflow. It gives you deep muscle car sound without any raspy tone or drone.

Why would I care about it being an AUTHENTIC doc for my car? Everything that is listed on that piece of paper is on the car. I had it checked before buying it.

Sure ok, then it is what you have said it is; a marketing/sales sticker for the window.

So, what are you going to do about the exhaust.

After doing some research I'm going to replace the entire exhaust system not including the headers. I'll keep the oxygen sensor but delete the pre-cats and cat. Probably going with Flowmaster 50 mufflers but that's still not firm

You can buy all the pieces and bolt them on if you want. The front Y pipe is sold with out cats. You can change the Cat of use your stock one. You can buy the rear Y or use yours if its not in bad shape. The mufflers are your choice. Very easy install.

Good Luck

Anyone can create one of these replica window stickers at https://corvetteparts.com/page/sticker It creates a PDF file that can be modified as you see fit.

I hope the seller didn't try to pass this off as the real window sticker from the car.

He did not. He was upfront about the paperwork and it was taken to a Corvette mechanic to verify what was installed on the car. Thanks

That would be rare. Most of the previous owners I have encountered are either liars and/or they don't really know a thing about their car that they are selling.

You know, I joined this Forum to help me learn about things I want to do to improve my car. Not to deal with folks who think that on the 7th day the Corvette Gods created them to belittle the rest of us new comers with their VAST knowledge of everything Corvette. If you don't have anything POSITIVE to tell me than "LEAVE ME THE F*C*K" alone. I'm not some snotty nose kid with no life experience. I'm 64 years old with lots of know how. I was just looking for a little help dammit!!!!!!

Don't let the comments of some of these guys get to you, I still continue to get my share of insults and jokes. Sifting through the bull you will find some very good knowledge to work off of. Don't get discouraged and don't take anything to heart when these guys start their comments and hate on you GALORE!

I wish you the best with your exhaust build. I do recommend hearing some Magnaflow exhaust systems on C4 corvettes on youtube. I had a Flowmaster cat-back on my car and it was a little raspy. When I had to replace it, I tried a Magnaflow cat-back and I can tell you, it sounds incredible, and that was before I had shorty headers thrown on! Magnaflow has the PERFECT SOUND, in my honest opinion! The decision is up to you.

I think the "purist" pushed this a bit far, whether the window sticker and the "word" he used was wrong...

Remember they aren't making C4s anymore and they are getting totaled daily(and owners are dying ), so the numbers and enthusiast are dwindling. I would think we would be more welcoming to a new member. What is a stupid question to the more "advanced" vette owners, might be a legit question for a newbie
