Default New C4 toy

I know this is not really C4 tech but I thought I would show it to you anyhow. I am completing my latest C4 drag car, that i expect to run low 8 high 7's in the 1/4 at around 165 MPH. It is powered by a Fuel injected 516 CID BBC.

Not all will like it but it will work fine for me.

I want one. And yes it is most certainly C4 related, IMO.

What HP/TQ numbers from that fuel injected BBC?

To tell you the truth the power numbers are TBD. I am expecting around 850 HP and high 700 for torque but I have not dynoed it yet. I may not dyno this one and instead wait for my larger engine to dyno it.

I am going to build a 582 BBC with 12 degree Profiler heads for the final engine for the car. The 516 is a holdover until the 582 is done. I am updating the 516 with AFR heads from Jim (On the forum).

I can not show you under the hood because it is not done yet. The pictures I have attached are when I bought the car. I have made quite a few changes to the car to set it up how I want the car. Under the hood is one area that is being updated from a Dart headed 516 with a 1050 carb to a AFR headed 516 with fuel injection.

These pictures are from the engine as purchased and then with the heads pulled. I took the engine apart to make sure there were no issues. All was fine.

Current condition of engine, waiting for heads.

As purchased.

Once the car is all done and made a few passes I will update the post.
