Default oil temperature sensor

Hello,

I am assembling my, 1985 Corvette, engine and I need an oil temperature sensor. I look up the part number, 25036292, and it is 150.00. I go to Amazon and it is $13.00. Has anybody replaced this sensor and did it cost $150.00.

Thank you

I got it from Auto Zone $61.00. NAPA wanted $250.00

Does anyone know why these are so damn expensive? Mine went out too and I didn't replace it because I was determined to find it for cheaper than 60 dollars. I didn't prevail.

Think of me. I am looking for a temperature sensor and NAPA says $250.00. I told them that is impossible. RockAuto has it for 70 and 105. AutoZone $61.00. Then I found the one I thought was lost. But, the car has been sitting. It had a blown head gasket and spun harmonic balancer. It is looking pretty good. I just hope it runs, lol. I almost bought a water temperature sensor. No *****.
