I found this jet chip in my parts car. Not sure if it even works. Should I check it out and see what it does? Do yall think it's any good or woth checking g out? I've not been a fan of cookie cutter chips but don't know anything about this one.
Might be interesting to read the chip to see the actual programming, but I'd be suspicious of the advertised gains. Also appears to have a socket, so could be used as an adaptor for use with a custom eprom or emulator. I'd say its worth about $25.
Try it, it only takes a few minutes and it may do something, the chip you have is the stage 2. You can always go back.
It is a G1 adapter which means it plugs into the computer and your stock chip pugs in on the side. Both chips are used the jet chip runs the engine programming and the factory chip takes care of the limp home features.
