Please note that I am getting a lot of "sync" interruptions in the logging so you will see some odd looking data at times. I'm not sure what to do with that. The Tuner C.A.T. folks indicated that it appears the ECM is occasionally sending corrupted packets to the CCM or the USB ALDL cable has issues. Look forward to getting your input on the LOG. Again, excellent step forward already in throttle responsiveness. Thanks very much for your help!!

Frank... awesome result. LOG attached. That said, I screwed something up. Following the LOG, I decided to adjust the AIC counts. I disconnected the battery following the adjustment but i had my laptop still sync'd to the OBD1. Now I have no Speedo. I tried shutting down and disconnecting and again but still no speedo and unable to sync the laptop to the car. No errors on the dash so I'm wondering if I corrupted the ECM? I will try to read / reflash. Anyhow, I've attached the tune #2 log.

I'm able to sync the Data C.A.T.s to the car no problem. I'm getting no digital Speedo and no speed input to Data C.A.T.s. Now I'm wondering if its not something I did but, rather, just something that failed. I ran a code reader... no faults at all. I have been having intermittent issues with my heating and AC control buttons not responding. I'm wondering if the PCM is going?

Attached another LOG of tune #2. Same route as before. This LOG is post VSS repair. Thought I would log as I had done some adjustment to IAC counts AND I calibrated the ASR which tweaked shift points. Probably didn't alter much but just in case.

You two guys seem to know WTF you are doing, wish I did, I have a 1227730 computer setup, speed density like a '91 camaro, at any rate, the setup is VERY intermittent, I have some days it runs great, but then next day, similar weather, it runs like total crap/rich/misfiring/backfiring/rough as hell, until it reaches like ~150f temp....then it smooths out a bit, but still hating life.....seems decent at higher RPM's though.......

is it possible someone could corrupt some file on the plug in chips?? I have 4 of those computers from years ago, I swap them around once in a while, I have two chipsets, one from an unknown source, and another much larger chipset from Alvin Anderson.......

the engine is a basic L98, with 1.6 rockers, L98 heads but a highly modified LT1 induction on top, with HEI in back, 52mm tbody...there is no EGR..does have the stock PCV of course..I have swapped all sorts of parts around over the last few years, and nothing seems to fix it.....age 76 here, so it's not driven every day, but quite often as it's my only wheels, except for wife's car.....

SO, with the info above is it possible for one of you to burn me a chipset I can just plug into the computer and hopefully cure this mess?? I"m an old ET and so installed this F Inj back in '95.....

PM ME please, with price and information, I can return old chipsets to you for parts anyway.....
