So people seemingly manage to keep the salt water out of their fuel tanks? I'm surprised by that. Thanks for the report.
I thought you meant ethanol -salt issues.....
No, salt water would get in for sure.. and unless you have a Racor separator, the stock size filter would get saturated with it and make its way to the engine. Worst i saw was a TBI engine that corroded the butterflies completely shut. But salt is salt, and plenty of issues besides just fuel contamination. Salt Air alone is amazing the damage it does, especially electrical damage...... People will still ask why alot of my tools are painted, and when I tell them new tools would rust in the air they were amazed....
LOL, I think the focal point here is "Topped off my tank in May" considering its middle November!!!!!!

If you topped of in may, that means you didn't drive all summer, and now your packing it away for the winter?
I live upstate New York
I take mine out all winter, as long as there's no ice or snow.
So no worries about fuel or seals drying up or mice or anything else that everyone writes in about this time of year.
Just drive it.
