WINDOW Regulator replacement
Hi everyone. I have a 1984 Corvette. Replacing the right regulator & motor. It had the original ribbon-type regulator. The replacement part I got from Eckler's, made by OPR, bolts in just fine, but......the window tract is too short. Maybe by 3 inches: causing the window to not go all the way up. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I ordered another regulator from Mid America Motorworks, but form what I can tell it is the exact same-designed part. And unfortunately no one at Eckler's or Mid America or Topflight have been any help: no one knows about the parts they sell.

I don’t have an answer, but I’m leaning towards user error over wrong part. 🤓
I swapped mine 20 years ago and they went in with no issues.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with something useful. 😆
