A/C Clutch Cycle Switch Help!
In getting my '93 on the road again and working out the kinks, I found the leaks that rendered the A/C non-working. One of those leaks was the Low-pressure Clutch Cycle Switch that was cracked along the threaded portion. My problem has been in finding a new switch.
The switch that was on my car which worked but leaked (the plastic threaded portion was cracked long-ways) was an OEM switch for a '94+ since mine had been converted to R134a. I went and got a Murray switch (PN: 36659) and while it looked the part, the threads were made too large so it would skip before really getting tight. I tried tightening it to just before it would skip and it did hold, but for less than a day. Thinking I may have gotten a defective switch I got another, but it proved to be the same with threads that were cut too large.
What I'm hoping is that someone here has found a switch that has that same connector and is rated at the same pressures (on @ 3.1kg, off @ 1.7kg) but that either fits properly or preferably has a metal body rather than the nylon section where it threads onto the low-side line.
Any help would be awesome,
Thanks,
-Zach

Rock auto shows two switches for the year. One with R12 calibration, and another with R134 calibration. The part numbers are in a post in that thread.
