Has anyone had problems with DIACOM recording the Pre Store Cache and not anything after that......or it seems that way when I pull a saved file up and try to graph it. I have Pre Store Cache information and it stops at time zero. I have the Record Length set at 8000, Display Rate of Fast and the Mode as Normal.
Thanks, I first thought maybe the space bar was sticking but it wouldn't ever pick up the Pre Cache if it wasn't getting a proper signal from the space bar. This is very frustrating!!!

This is not 100% correct.
I gave my laptop to a buddy so he could use it on his car. A week later, I asked what the data runs looked like. He said "It isn't working. Only the values before 0 frames got stored".
I asked him if he knew he had to trigger the recording. He said no.
If you are linked and you just go to save, it will only save what is before frame 0. The bottom line on the screen will change...from something like "DIACOM Linked" to "Retreving data".
Thanks for your help, you were right, I wasn't recording.......I have to hold the space bar until it beeps and then it starts recording.....I made a couple of WOT runs this weekend to the rev limiter at 6200 RPM's but the recordings showed me shifting at around 4000 RPM's so I'm now questioning the recording accuracy/updating frequency.
My Diacom won't read a 95 vette data stream. I even made an adaptor to go from the obdII to obdI so I could hook up. Still nothing. I know the adaptor worked because my autoxray scanner would link perfectly with the home made adaptor. How are you hooking in to the 16 pin OBDII connector?
I got a connecter from the guy I bought DIACOM from. One end hooks into the long cord that comes with the software and the other end has 3 wires that goes into #'s 5, 6, and 9 in the plugin.
Does anyone know why my readings seem like only brief snapshots rather a true multi-second data stream? The main reason I bought the software is to make sure there were no KR signals......which there are not so I'm happy, but now I would like nice pretty graphs that show everything that happens to the rev limiter.......also how do you see the settings for the fans? The info screen only shows on or off settings and then a brief description of what it is. I want to see the true tables with 0's and 1's. Should I have got LT1Edit?

Should have at least 6 frames/second. You might need to select a faster refresh rate.

Diacom only has provisions for graphing 3 items at one in brush recorder/strip chart style.

Diacom only shows i/o stuff. It doesn't show programmed variables (except for RPOM ID, etc). So yes, LT1Edit is probably what you were after.
I think that LT1 edit is a complete package...both scanning and tuning. TunerCat is just tuning. If you go with TunerCat, you will still need Diacom. If you go with LT1 Edit, I don't think you will need Diacom. Hope that makes sense.
