Radiator leak...found fixed!!!

Radiator leak...found fixed!!!
During a radiator flush I experienced a rather large leak in the area of the radiator drain plug. Soooo, out I pulled the radiator. Boy! There was enough foldage etc. to start my own compost pile!
Anywho,upon exaimination there was nothing wrong with the radiator itself ie.no cracks. I took out the plug and there is a rugger washer there. I was weak and was crimping upon being tighten.
The dealership parts dept. sells the washer only with the plug. So I went to a hardware store and found a replacement. It works like a champ.
If I had known that the plug can come out without removing the raiator,I most likely would have. But then again I would have all that good compost!
