ok! found taylor wires! 77.00 a set for the cut to length's from my local speed shop! They will be in tomorrow, and according to an email that Bob sent me, so will the LTCC.
Now... I wait for GM Partsdirect... if their shipping quote is correct, they really dick you over on S&H...
My times and mph are about the same as what they were before., we'll see what happens in the cool air in November, If I can manage better than a 12.99, it was all worth it.
A friend of mine did the conversion on his 95 camaro (he did his first) the car is a hotcam car with headers. the week before the conversion he went 13.20's last week he went 12.83 with a flutter between 4600 and 5200 he was traping at 105 he normally traps at 110. we suspect that the orignal opti is crapping out. By the way his last pass of the day (you will know why it was his last pass) he brought the revs up to 5 grand (he has a mcleoud street twin) and scattered his moser 12bolt!!!! the new rear had about 2000mi on it.
I've mustered up my funds and ordered the LTCC from Bob. I haven't heard boo from him, but I'll assume he was out of town for a Cruise-in or some other function necessary to further his business. I ordered the coils from Superior, figured I give Chris the shot at supplying my addiction/needs. The coils would take a few days to get there as well. I hope they all show up the same day.....like TOMORROW!!! :cuss It is driving me  waiting for them to get here.
From what DOCTOR J said, the LS1 coils are "smart" coils -- to me, this means they contain solid state circuitry. Seeing these coils so close to the headers makes me wonder if they can take that kind of heat. Personally, I would keep them in a cooler area.

I was thinking the same thing. However, that is a BEAUTIFUL install!
I mounted mine much like Frank did his...
The only difference, I put the LTCC box on the far right of the fender, by the heater box. Until I saw Franks pics again (they had gone away), I was having an issue with fitment in the headlite bucket area.
In this picture, are the coils ok being that close to the headers, I like that setup but was wondering if heat was going to be an issue in that location??
Good news and bad news.
The good first; I got my coils and brackets in the mail today. :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: $34.34 each, brackets $8.18 each. I ordered two interior parts as well. Shipping was $9.13.
The bad; Still no LTCC and no email from Bob?? :nonod: I'm trying not to worry, but I'm still going  .
