anybody here running tunercat? a program that lets you get a cable that goes from your laptop with the program to your ecu and lets you make differrent fuel maps timing, gear correction, tire size speedo corrections, ect? i am getting a tunercat system for free but the problem it came from a guy who had a 94 corvette. i dont know if it will work with mine since i have a 96 and obviously have OBDII. im wondering if i just get the OBDII cable if it will still work ok? anybody know anything about this? any input is gladly welcome as i know nothing about scanning/tuning
Its about double what TC costs, and your only other option is to convert to OBD1 using a 16181333 PCM from a 94/95 car. But you are better off using LT1 Edit, or mail order or wait for TC to come out with their version of OBD2 and its still some time off as we have been waiting for it for at least 2 years now........ :(
