How do you reset ECM?
I had a code 13 for the O2 sensors, I replaced them but the code is still being indicated. Do I need to reset the ECM and if so how?
Thanks

 What year is your car?
OBD 1, like my 88, clear by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 30 seconds.
Unfortunately this also clears the clock, the radio and the mileage readouts.
When you reconnect, it will take a few miles of driving for the ECM to relearn it's settings
No Big Deal

With an OBD-1 system you can reset the ECM by opening the connector in the Or wire near the battery; with an OBD-II system you need a computer interface.

How do you tell if you have an obd1 or an obd2? Also not to sound stupid but what is obd, on board diagnostic?

 I believe your 95 is OBD 11, but you can alwaqys discoonect the negative terminal on the battery and see what happens :D
It can't hurt anything!

Disconnecting your battery won't do anything on a 95. You will need a scanner to reset your system. My suggestion is to spend about $150 on a basic handheld unit. It will do everything you need it to do, especially if you're a DIY'er. Three or four uses and it will pay for itself. If you like I can get the model number of what I use at work (I'm in the used car business - we use this thing regularly and it has been great).

I purchased a ACTRON scanner from Advanced auto parts for $160. It is very helpful in pulling up codes and clearing them!!
Get one! You will not be sorry!!!

You know, I'm fairly certain I've got the same model (from the same place). Very good item!
