I have checked the new wires, new opti, changed the new plugs out, checked the fuel pressure, vacuum and I still have the slight miss @ low RPM's, especially with the A/C on. I re-adjusted the rockers and discovered one out of spec slightly. I am getting :mad because I am beginning to think my brand new GM opti is the culprit. Did I miss anything? It acts like a plug wire shorting out for a second when you touch the throttle lightly and it does not hesitate unless there is a load on; like the A/C. However, all full throttle runs are fine. Every now and then it will pop through the intake if I slam the throttle part of the way open. That's all I can tell you. Somebody tell me what's up?

Did you check the coil tower for any corrosion? If its all ok as far as new wires plugs and things, my best suggestion is to take it to a shop that has a ignition scope. If its a plug or a wire the scope will show it like a sore thumb. At least that way you won't be chasing your tail trying to find it. As it can be something as simple as a cracked plug (it can happen) when you installed the plugs.
thanks, no I have not checked the coil...hmmm it could be that. I did pull the plugs and carefully install new ones though. The old ones held no clues. They all looked clean. Thanks, I'll check the coil tower tonight.

No Problem, I had a opti problem last week in a F body. The opti was bad as the rotor was coming apart. However the kid had mulitple problems, his coil tower was also ate up from a open coil wire. The connector was burned because the arc was so hot with the wire being bad it carbon tracked the tower causing another intermittent miss fire.
