Time to "belly up" ! No bs fighting over the net like some children. I have an honest bet for the tuning god SDI. If he is a real man he will take me up on it. I bet $500 that SDI cannot run 10's with his stock injectors at the stock fuel pressure. Boom! Now let see if he steps up to the plate.

Hey kvu - what does stock fuel pressure have to do with it? You and I both know this is a BS setup. He never said the 24lbs can run 10 with stock pressure, he simply says it is possible with the right tune and engine.

I am currently running under the "stock" pressure with 24lb and I am still running rich at 11.27et.


Jeese, if this were TGF you would be banned!!!! Cause you don't agrea with the consensus.

jim i dont even think kvu went 11s with a 406 yet so he cant even imagine a 383 running bottem 11s with 24s running pig rich but that is his mentality

oh by the way ask 87ta what he ran this past weekend and see what he tells you and compare those times to a smaller motor 383 with less gear and running through a maf to boot plus ask him what was his 60 ft and it was better than a certain 383s were
but the 383 went quicker et what does that tell you

My 406 is still running stock smog heads. I never tried to get it into the 11's, yet. It more like this, you might be able to build a good engine but that doesn't mean you know how to tune the ecm. I do, so when I decide to hit 11s then it'll be with total control of the fuel curve.

BTW, I have the money. I also know the engine is not going to run worth a crap at the stock f/p and injectors.

I'm ready for a good technical disussion w/o fighting. Leave the derogatory comments out of the thread or I will not respond, and I hope the admin will take care of it. So lets begin, time to knock the king off the hill.

Ok fair enough, thank you for treating me with respect. I was not trying to drag his name through the mud. He just doesn't know how to tune well enough to be called an expert. I'm here to prove it. Why is it that you guys think running too large of injectors will make the car run slower? It's not true.

God this is why More Headway into Prom Burning/Tunning Hasn't Been Made. People If we just learn form each other and colaborate and work togeather and think outside the box great accivemnts could be made. I am not Taking Sides or resort to name calling but remember we all drive Bowties, this argument reminds me of the mustang, camaro owners Fighting. Now We are Picking on our own Kind. Where is the Principle to break this up.

That is not right, please hear me out. My friend runs 10.6 @124 n/a with a mailorder chip. I checked the a/f ratio on his car and it started at 9.5 and slowly went up to 12.2 . Just because his car runs 10's doesn't mean the mailorder chip is good, the a/f ratio is a mess....

With out datalogging the car and making adjustments the tune won't be correct. Might Run But not be as good or safe as it could be if you did you own chip burning

Some mail order chips are crap. And others are not. There are too many guys here running Jesse's chips who love them and their a/f ratios are not screwed up. The proof is in the customer base.

I agree with you to a point. Which is why I'm datalogging before and after. The tune might not be perfect, but it will be damn close on the first shot. And remember, like was stated earlier, he will continue to work with you and the datalogging you provide until it IS correct.

Something else people seem to forget, CHP used the word "expert" It didn't come out of Jesse's mouth.
