On my 88 roadster the Power Antenna Relay has two connectors going into it. The Grey connector with two red wires going into the middle pin is black and coroded, I need to replace the connector or the pin, the pin being the cheapest thing to do (if I could get it out?). Needless to say the GM dealer wans 55$Cdn for the plug?????? Anyone have another source??
As far as I know, that's a weatherpak connector and the pins, at least in the US, are readily available at NAPA, Pep Boys or any of the discounters. Try a Google search to locate a supplier online if none are available locally. You'll need the tool kit which is a hollow shaft, maybe a couple of mm's in diameter that slides over the pin and depresses the locking tang. The pin will then slide out of the connector.
Thanks EVERYONE! It's curious as to how much GM wants to make on parts for the C4's ( I imagine on all Vette parts)! 87Vetter has been a great help and parts may be on the way soon!
Thansk again! I'ts off to the track now for laps
