Anyone using PaceSetter headers?

Don't get them they suck, I started to install a set on my 1996 LT4 and i put on the drivers side one and it did not fit correctly, There install kit sucked and so did the instructions. they dont use studs to bolt to the Cats they use regualr bolts that dont fit right and are to smakk. I gave up and sold them on ebay for less than what i payed for. Not worth the it, go get some Hookers shortys or get some longtubes.

This has been a topic of discussion at the local F-body club here in town. There are a lot of 'kids' that go with them because they don't damage the pocket book as badly as the other brands, but they don't fit as well, don't produce as much power, and it has been claimed that it takes a lot of "massaging" to get them to fit correctly. Personally, if I have to take a hammer to manipulate how the part is going to fit... it wasn't made to fit my application plus it voids any expressed or implied warranty.

Back in the "day", a set of headers that DIDN'T require some "hammer massaging" or "hot wrench" tweaking, were a rarity. It has long been MY experience, That bolt on parts...DON'T. The kids, today, are spoiled.
