Dwight, this is actually my "formal" living room....though as you can see....it's pretty casual. The patio has been converted into an auxiliary garage, which can be seen clearly from the living room as well.

I did a set of end tables w/ 17x9.5's in my rec room - off an 89 Vette...
Put the 2 "double stacks" beside the sofa's - sitting upon a 24"plywood circle (to not stain the carpet) and a glass round on top.
Had it that way for a few years until last fall, I found a set of Dymags and needed some leverage in a trade :D
BTW - Wife hated the idea at first but loved to show 'em to friends :)
Just do it!!! :flag

Why not redo them. I have the extra set because I have the 5 spokes on the car. My rims are about an 8 but I am going to refinish them so they are perfect again. Shouldnt be too bad maybe $125-$150 a rim.
Anybody know anyone good in Florida that can refinish these rims?
Try ebay,,,, I have seem ZR-1 rims on there before.

It's a pristine 11,000 mile LT5, matching numbers, out of my car....why sell it now and regret it later? And why store it where no one can see it? ;)

That only works above 100 mph - head over to the Z06 discussion, and they'll tell you that your increased intelligence is mostly due to cold air intake, not Random Access Memory!!
Seriously - I know what you mean - the important stuff is used daily, and anything more can be accessed through text books/journals/internet when needed. That's right people, the internet can used for something other than finding info on Corvettes!!

Re: LT5 coffee table? (DoctorV8)
What year is that motor ? Just curious...
BTW... I stumbled onto 2 brand new 3 piece Gotti wheels... only one problem... it is not a matched pair... However... they are the ZR-1 offset... 1 front and one rear... they look great... was considering doing the coffee table coversion with em... would like to remove the bolts and have them anodized or powder coated a candy color... not good for much else unless the other 2 appear at the salvage yard where I found these 2...
