Hey Nick..

It'll be great to see where your at with your setup. How's the fuel/duty cycle situation? I'll assume it's been taken care of. If so, what specifically took care of it.. boost referencing the regulator or the addition of the bosch unit?

Just so because I believe the worst thing is being uninformed, here's a link on ls1tech, in case you hadn't seen it. It's on how bad things can get w/ no fuel and higher boost. Pretty confident 20psi is doable but just don't get to the point of going higher just for kicks.. At least wait for mine to get there.

phil thanks! they're ramped up quicker. drove around the other night with pressure guage and was at max @ little before zero vacuum.

arnel i will run as much boost as the duty cycle will allow. i bought used/new bulkhead assembly and will install bosch 420 internal in the stock bucket. my current setup will not keep up with the demands that ref reg would put on it, but i think the bosch will .

btw i have alchy now so

So are you going to be hitting the rollers with the new Bosch pump tomorrow?

I don't see what the big deal is in running race gas at that hp level. It's really not much more expensive than 93/94 octane. I can't imagine blowing up my forged motor to save a few hundred bucks a year in fuel.

Nick - whatcha shootin for? 800?

Cheers,

Mark

You better do good Nick, I am scheduled for retuning next week...and hopefully with no misfires I will be able to see what my fuel system is capable of supporting..with relation to boost that is.

mark as much as the injectors will allow i guess. i cannot turn up pressure as current fuel system will not sustain. will be installing bosch #bos 420 soon. with that pump ill be able to run ref and hopefully help the injectors.
i'd like to see anything in the low 7XX.

Nick, I'm sure whatever the number is, you have one fast Vette....not only fast but one awesome looking ride that has "street" maner. I'm still saving for my PTK TT or A&A TT ATI P1 will have to do for now until the pennies become $$ enough for TT. Thanks for sharing your experiences and taking the time to answer my questions

well got home @ 12.:30 last night!

it went well but basically ran outa time. much more time is needed.

here are the stats:

a/r ran as low as 9.4 up to 10.5
boost was approx 12psi
timing was only 15*
injectors 19.5m/s
loosing fuel pressure
rwhp was 631
tq was 69X

i am real happy with that, boat load of power left but not until i get my bosch 420 and referrence my regulator. there was no reason to keep going
ill post dyno later todays!

btw the curvers where as flat as Kansas
