Spools the turbos wicked fast and makes huge torque and very flat HP curve. Usually see power peak by 5000 rpm and holds the power all the way to 6250 or more depending on boost.

Used the same type of cam on a turbo 4.3V6 and made 610HP and 750 Ft.lbs all under 5000 rpm.

Cool. Similar to what I went with on my 402 for TT exept I went with 115 LSA. 224/226 585/587 on 112 ICL with XER lobes. Should give a nice wide powerband.

@ 9 psi 617 RWhp / 648 Tq
@ 13 psi 742 RWhp / 720 Tq

A partial final pull was done @ 16 psi , but the rear tires were lighting up in smoke and would just not stay on the dyno . From what Mark @ Campbell Automotive has said , the pull broke the front strap and fuel issues came up . It seems the upgraded ECS fuel system isn't all that it's cracked up to be at this higher level . After trying a few times @ the 16 psi level the best number they could record before the tires broke to hell was 829 RWhp / 839 Tq .

I had a chance to drive it around the block some , even with the fuel problems this thing is absolutely insane. The boys figure there is around 100 hp left to get . We were shooting for 18 psi , but their equipment just can't handle the power .

The next step is to modify the ECS system ( they have figured out the problem ) and bring the car over to a friend of Marks who has a better Dynojet and try out the fuel revisions and attempt to get a better tune .

My hat is off to the boys @ Campbell for the job they have done to this vehicle. A few of the items they have done to this car IE . oil cooler , invisible catch can and hiding of system components are one-off and fabbed up on the fly in their shop. The work they have done is second to none in my humble opinion.

Once the final bugs are worked out and testing done , I will repost results , but figured I would post what we had now as a nice little sample.

Dan

PS Anyone who thinks the t3/t4 turbos are not big enough to make any "real" power , I have to say you guys are completely off your rocker .

Well..................Fuel system problem solved and:

692HP @ 9psi on 91 octane pump gas (0 knock 11:1 AFR)
770HP @ 13psi on 91 octane and methanol
840HP???? @ 16psi on 91 and methanol with the tires smoking (still no traction)

We believe the car could make 900+rwhp no problem if we could make it hook and run it to 18 psi but the tires will no hold on the dyno and the torque from the engine comes on so hard at 3500-4000 rpm it blows the tires of no matter what we do to strap in down. We even had 350 lbs of people in the trunk.........but no help. We are going to put the car on a Dynojet next week to see if we can hook it up in 5th or 6th gear..........our Mustang dyno only goes to 160mph and were there at the middle of 5th gear.

The car with the straps of tight as possible, walks right out of the rollers and smokes the tires as soon as you get in the throttle at 14-15 psi.

Will post some video soon.

Great job on the car. To you guys for working on the fuel system issue.
I was just about to order the ECS fuel system, is this modification you did something you could repeat, maybe send you the ECS system you do your magic then send me the kit???

Do you have a special cam for a smaller ci motor??

I have the TTIX on a 346CI 729.6RWHP/721RWTQ

Good work...

too small ? is this the stage X kit from TTi ? and they are too small for a 408 cui?

I plan to go this way with TTi kit for a few projects here in Euope,
hoping to see 1000 rwhp on 98 octane (94.2 us spec)

So what spec do the stage X have ?

TIA

Of course not. The TTi Stage X kit has made excellent power on 346 and 400+ ci motors. The "too small" comment is just a little inside jab at a particular toothless troll that shall remain nameless.

Cheers,
