I believe you chimed in when I had this issue. I scaled mine 30%. It happened to be the magic number b/c at full boost I am at the end of the timing table. I was able to ramp timing down according to each lb of boost.
I would be surprised if this is not the issue after the OP's blower install.
This would have been the first car I had heard of with this problem that wasn't caused by the PCM seeing too much air too quickly.
I just want to thank Kris for figuring it out and taken care of it. The car felt strong. The power was out at our local track due to weather yesterday so we didn't get any times. The track did arm drop so we did get some passes. I wore out a race car tho. That's all ways fun. Here is the final log file of the night.

There were several people telling Shane it was other problems causing the REP. Hell even LMR who tuned the car originally said it was something else. Thanks everyone for the help in finding the problem.
Reduced engine power was due to maxing out the calculated air table. I had to scale the VE and the injectors back. I also tuned it for meth.
Still have way high IAT's. 250 at the end of a run at the track. This is with 8% of the fuel being pulled out do to the amount of 100% meth being injected.
Kris I am glad you were able to help Shane out. Seems funny to me that you can pay someone good money for a service and have to have your friends fix the problem they left. I know he is very appreciative. Can’t wait to see how he does when all is working and dialed in.

When Shane pulled back up from his 2nd full pass without any REP we took the laptop into the trailer to look over the log. He had a smile from ear to ear and then hugged me. lol. He kept saying "Thank you, Thank you".
This is my first FI car to tune on and I was very very worried making changes. It was out of my safety zone. I don't know how many times I told him to watch the wide band. This is the 2nd time I trailered him to the track and tuned on the car. I am happy with the results and happy for Shane.

It seems really funny or odd until you are the person that experiences it. There are some shops out there that are just using canned tunes. As long as the car fits in a certain "box", then they can just load up a tune that has worked before, make a few pulls, and send you out the door. When a problem occurs, they haven't done enough real tuning or troubleshooting to figure it out. Plus there's no way that they want to see that easy money, that it only took them 30 minutes to make, turn into something that involves real work.
Congratulations to the people involved that figured it all out. This is the way that a car should be tuned. I drive my car on the street and at the track, not on the dyno.
Sorry to bring this back from the dead. This post has been extremely helpful to me. As the 1278 has been killing me slowly ever since my blower install. We will be scaling back the VE and injectors in mine soon, and hopefully this cures me as well. Will keep you updated.
No problem man. I spent 650 on a dyno tune threw LMR and they didn't even scale it back. Kris scaled mine back and it worked great after words. It suxs to drive 9 hours for a tune one way. Get back home take it to the track and have issues with it. Call LMR and they tell me I will have to bring it back to them. Also they even quit answering my phone calls. I hope this helps.
Wow, that just sux. We tried all kinds of things with the shift points. Mine's an A4 and we thought it was in the tranny shifts the whole time. A little research on the forums and now finally something new to try. Man, I hope this works.
I had the same problem to, it was the air intake temp wire cam unplugged half way down the track. Plugged it back in and it was fine. I didnt read all the posts i just saw reduced engine power and responded. Hopefully this will help goodluck.
Well, after a day of tuning the magical number was 2.26grams p/cyl. Once we got below that, the REP was no more!!!! I'm so glad I found this thread and a couple others that gave us something new to try.
However, we learned it's time to upgrade my fuel system as the LPE pump can't keep up after 5800 rpm in these 40* degree temps. Man, is the car making some power!!
