I'm currently planning on a forged iron block 347. Have to make some calls tomorrow.

Shortblock is ordered and should be here by the beginning of next week.
LM7 Iron block, GM crank,-3cc Forged pistons, Forged H-beam rods with ARP rod bolts.
More than enough engine to handle what my little TC76 can put out maxed.

You have a good question about the manifold design, I'd look into that before installing the new short block.

LOL! Blowing my engine has always been the only way for me to convince my wife to allow forged goodies.

Sometime in the not too distant future I'm going to make a new manifold. I'm going to go with smaller schedule 10 pipe for the main log to make it easier to fit as well as allow better angles from the primaries.
On the bright side I will now have a complete block and heads to use as a jig for turbo hotside development

[QUOTE=MawneeC5;1585651490]I get S*** done!
If I don't have to wait for parts I expect to have this running again before the end of the year.
I like your attitude, good luck with the rebuild!
