90mm on the LS3 also. Supposedly the cathedral ports to this point made more power, but according to my buddy (who's the go-to guy in town, he's one of the smart ones) the new 260 rectangle port AFR's are going to be game changers. That's pretty much how he explained it to me.

Hopefully he is right. AFR has some damn good heads, I'm looking at some for mine later down the road.

I will let you know on the 31st. HotRod magazine said in a
comparison of intakes, that the MSD would cut around 35 hp.
We will see.

Its all in the tune, a mechanic told me once that the Fast 102 was hard to tune on a procharged C5, that I had to get an LS6 intake, until I found the right tuner for it. Mine is great running 8-10 lbs of boost, everything is seated properly and sealed no problems, running with 90 mm LS2 tb.

Nice well I'm getting the intake before the ecs. I'm wanting to see the difference if any. I'll share the dyno sheets of the new intake. With the LS6 intake I make 378 to the wheel, but I had lost my dyno sheet awhile back.

I have decided to go to the LS3 high ram. Planning on going to the 2000hp 417 intercooler in a winter or 3 so I might as well get it now.

We've been pushing 25+ through a FAST 102 for several years now. No issues at all.

I run LSA heads and LS3, make well over 1200hp. You don't need any expensive intake and I would rather spend the money on a better head to keep it together.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the 1000 dollar intakes anymore. Did a lot of research and asking around. However I did order the Holley Sniper with the 102mm, the guys at the shop that drag race said the 102mm throttle would be better for a boosted application, if NA then stick with a 92mm until you get over 800rwhp but even then the 102mm isn't really needed then either.

102mm wont make a damn bit of difference on a boosted setup vs n/a

If anything the larger would favour the n/a as it needs every bit of help it can.

With your FAST, have you had to change from a drive by wire to drive by cable? All of the FAST, Holley and Atomic throttle bodies are drive by cable. I have yet to see them make a drive by wire. The only drive by wire throttle body that is a 102mm is the Nick Williams for a price more than the intake itself..

I am just now finishing up my Hi Ram install. Drive by cable conversion has been fairly easy, though I do have ProEFI.

(cable has since been re-routed so it doesnt go thru the windshield!)
