I have canceled the order on the Holley Fabricated. It was going to be two months before I possibly get one shipped to me. I'm gonna see about the Hi-Ram. Those are in stock.

If the Hi Ram for your engine is the same height as the LS7 Hi Ram, it will not fit under the hood you pictured.
I'm using the Hinson short engine mounts, and my intake still just barely rubs on the underside of my VFN Cowl hood. I had to mount my throttle body upside down for it to fit.

I believe the LS1/LS6 is alittle short than the LS7 varient. I love that hood though!!
I can tell you first hand that the Sniper intake is not made by Holley and is identical to some you can buy on ebay. Holley does quality check them before reboxing them but I dont know if thats worth their markup.
I run an aluminum intake by Speedmaster, identical to the Typhoon by Profesional Products and Chinese as well. I however ported the crap out of it and slapped a 102mm tb on it. I figured an aluminum intake will hold up better to my 25psi.

I am now looking at Holley's race fabricated intake. Not many reviews on it either but it can hold a high boost than the cheaper one. Do you know if the race one is good or not? It's fairly new, to my knowledge.
I love this article haha I have it saved under the favorites tab so I can read it often when my friends around here ask about intakes lol I'll normally send them to this link.

The one with the removable top? Yes Ive seen it. I know that Chinese guy that sells them here in the US for the main Chinese company. We were trying to get a hold of some to test. They dont seem too bad but seem to be more for top end high rpm power. Im curious to see if there will be some torque lost down low.

I can give some torque up for top end for now, I'm gonna get an ECS or A&A later on to help pick up the bottom better.

Centrifugal blowers have linear power delivery, IE the power increases with RPM. You will not pick up the lost low end power by adding a centri blower.

Not even just a little bit? and what does IE stand for?
And honestly, I'll only see lowered rpms during first gear then after that i won't see below 4000, I believe, might be alittle higher than that
