Liking the remote knock sensors. I'm running the LS2 style right in the holes. Now I'm going turbo so I have yet to determine if they will work in their positions. Helpful to know remotes are available. The LS2 sensors I believe have a greater range. Though I am on Haltech ecu and can tune for specific ranges and avoid engine noise.

Double check that fuel level sender part number. A lot of companies have dumped C6 parts as C5 and there were some part replacement number changes made where the two units read opposite of one another for full.

Looking great! I want to hear it when it's done.

Finally got it running. First start up was yesterday but only ran it for 20 secs after finding all the injectors leaking. I guess the rails need different o rings compared to stock fuel rails. Would have never known.

Good oil pressure and good fuel pressure. Just have to do a break in and get it tuned. Will be doing a SD tune so hopefully it'll drive smooth.

Here's a couple of sound clips if anyone is interested.

I'm happy with the way it sounds. It's always a roll of the dice when ordering a custom cam. 😆

Shop owner took it out for a drive today and said everything went smooth and looks good. It's on a basic tune right now just to get a break in done. I'm heading up tomorrow and Saturday to put enough miles in to seat the rings. Hopefully we can get it to the tune shop next week for numbers.

It's been almost a year since last HRPT where I blew the piston. I'm hoping to be able to get it back to the tour this year in June.

I'll keep you all posted on numbers when I get them.

Still having problems getting a 3.25 pulley for the Novi so for now I'm sticking with the 3.5.

I close my eyes and listen to that clip and feel like I'm standing outside my car. Very nice!

Wish I would've spent a little more and cleaned up my engine bay like yours. It looks nice. I also wish I would've had the heads done.

I'm excited to see your numbers and how much timing you're able to run.

What size and model tire are you running in the back?

I just like seeing an EBZ with 500s. One of the best C5 combos out there.

That was one of my main goals was trying to keep the engine bay nice and clean. Bruce Thomas did wonders on that job. I can't thank him enough on how it looks.

Rears are R888s 305x30x19

Thanks...I agree that it just the perfect look on these cars. I remember looking at Toques old car for the first time and said yup....that's it's.

Does Griptec not have a pulley that will work? That's where I got my 3.4 for my Vortech. He even made me a custom hub for it.

I agree. I like my quicksilver w 505s but the eb w 500s is on a different level.

I just switched from 305 30 19 R888Rs to Nitto nt01s. The 888s were 5yrs old and a little hard so it's not completely fair to compare the 2 but so far I am extremely happy with the nt01s.

3rd gear 3900 60mph hit dead hooks. No heat 30psi.

W my 888s spin city.

I was unaware of Griptec. I was waiting on ECS to source me one but they are not being very quick with the process.

Looks like they do make a dual key hub for the Novi. You can also send Drew an email and explain your situation. He was very good to work with. drew@zpegriptec.com

With 305s not being an option any more, I'll probably switch to the NT01s. I don't think I can squeeze a 325 in there.

So I finally found the right pulley. It's on now.

Wanted to give everyone an update. Car is running great with just a baseline tune right now. Damn this thing is a lot louder. 😆

I'm currently at 100 miles in the breakin stage. Plan to drive it as much as I can the next 4 days and hopefully the tuner can get me in next week to finish up.

Videos don't do it justice compared to in person. It's rowdy!

Hopefully the next update I'll have final numbers for you all. Thanks for following. 🍻

You're not kidding. Stand 100ft behind the car and have someone give it some revs. It's mind blowing how much louder they are.
