That is the poop, maybe you could even make it programable so if people have alarms they can program a seperate button

will there be 2 different sets available? (ie. key fobs for 97-00 and 00-04 models) Ive got a 97 and my key fob died, so id love to buy one of these!

There are going to be sets made to accommodate both passive and non-passive FOB's all C5 years 1997-2004 will be available.

that is a cool idea, but i think that the cost would be pretty high...

That key fob thing is a GREAT IDEA! I've always wanted my vette keys to be like that. Got so used to the Audi/VW keys.
