Sounds like a biased bunch of answers to me. Get the coup and take the top of. Withe the coup you wont have to worry about water leaks, rotting canvas, knife cuts, wind noise.

I'm not sure why Dave68 thinks that the coupe is "lightyears better" than the convertible. I've owned a C5 Coupe and 2 C5 Convertibles and can honestly say that IMO there's very little difference between the two with the top up. Now, with the top down, that's a whole different story!
